We athijews attacked Artscape. Hello children’s puzzles and a near-free afternoon! Oh, and this squirrel ate our power line. We lost power for a while, but I think he lost the war.

Maryland Zoo
So this one time, back in June, a boy and I went to the zoo. We had a photo-off, and I contend that I won, mainly because I shot digital and was able to edit before the viewing. :p
D3 ?!?
Did a couple of freelance assignments for The Capital again on Wednesday, they let me use a brand new Nikon D3. Glorious. In-between assignments, on the way back to my car, I attacked some flowers.
Further Untitled
First, some quotes. From Pink’s So What: “So, so what, I’m still a rock star I got my rock moves and I don’t need you And guess what, I’m havin’ more fun And now that we’re done I’m gonna show you tonight I’m alright, I’m just fine and you’re a […]

Work and school are still in full force, but Drake and I are over. The weather sure is lovely, though. Funny how a beautiful day makes you appreciate the small things. Like never regretting a dramatic green wall. Or that flowers are even better through a macro filter. Or a […]

Crofton
House-sitting while the parents are house-hunting… feed the cats, refill the humidifiers… eventually I got bored enough on my day off for a photo walk. I used to be afraid of the woods behind our homes, but time conquers all.
Winter Something-or-Other
I’m trying to get out more and photograph what’s plain to see. The tough part is then placing the shots together into a theme, let alone a coherent story. Please enjoy these four photos of man-made ice skating rinks. Thanks.
Stuff that Happens
Finals are over. 3/4 grades are in. Drake and I went to Assateague with some of his friends over the weekend to celebrate. I’ve wanted to go to Assategue since discovering Marguerite Henry in my youth, so basically, my life is complete now. I’m surviving extended mall hours in the […]
