It’s one of VisCom’s annual projects. Photographers descend upon Athens county from sun-up (6:50am) to sun-down (7:42pm) on one given day (last Friday, Oct. 22).
I went with the women’s crew team for a nearly pre-dawn practice, visited Arts/WEST for a lighting set-up and after-school program, and played a little dulcimer with Jerry Rockwell‘s Southeast Ohio Dulcimer Festival.
Luckily, the most miserable of my experiences will run as a double-truck when Dawn2Dusk publishes in the Athens News on Nov. 4th. Now I have something more to show for my efforts than the cherished memory of being on a boat with my adviser and her dog at 5:30 in the morning.
