Following my previous post, my GRE scores and a lovely packet from Boston University came in the mail. My cumulative score was right where I need it to be, but broken down my Verbal definitely overtook my Quantitative score…which is not what ETS had in mind when they set up the GRE. So I’ll be taking the test again after Katie’s wedding. I’m still waiting on info from Ohio U and Mizzou. Gonna try to set up interviews in November… but before all that, I took a vacation last weekend:
I’ve been talking to Brian online & onphone for about eight years now… we “met” back in the day when I helped run a Game Girls message board, life went on, Facebook happened, and I took a weekend to discover Ann Arbor and an old friend.

Huge “ugh” regarding life lately. I just really hate being in limbo… waiting for GRE scores, grad school info packets, calls regarding employment & health insurance, and other such things I can’t really avoid. Needless to say, I’m taking the weekend to visit a friend in Michigan; a place I’ve never been and hopefully won’t run into anything that will make my life more complicated.
For now though, its jogging, packing, cleaning, follow-up calling, and working. Probably studying too, just in case. Wahoo!

Always a good time… one day a year. We went opening weekend. And with this post, I’ve gotten my photo-life basically up to date.

I personally like theirs better than ours. Its bigger, and I get bored fairly easily.

Forgot to wear my Shakespeare shirt last time… and this year they didn’t have a guy playing the part. :/

This one time, back in August, a boy and I wandered through the woods. Then I learned, while studying for the GRE, that a group of trees is called a “stand.” So next time you’re in the woods… you’re actually in a bunch of stands. Or something.

We athijews attacked Artscape. Hello children’s puzzles and a near-free afternoon!

Oh, and this squirrel ate our power line. We lost power for a while, but I think he lost the war.
