Maryland‘s was exactly what I expected: livestock, award-winning vegetables and handmade pillows, over-priced rides, and another opportunity to eat turkey legs.

The only downfall? I stepped in poo while petting a goat. Normally this would not have bothered me, but Theo threatened not to let me back in the house. Luckily, we compromised and he found a stick for me to de-poo the shoes with. Life is tough.

Theo and I have been attending the Charm City Roller Girls‘ bouts almost all season, so this was also how we spent my last day in Baltimore. :D

I recently purchased this beast of a lens, 17-35mm f/2.8 that I’ll need to try when the derby comes around again. More accurately, when the CCRG and I are in Baltimore on the same weekend.
