Patapsco
August 31, 2010 4:53 pmAlthough my original plan was to play in Patapsco State Park while Theo had classes, I never quite made it in due to my love of trash / broken things.
State Fair
4:47 pmOddly enough, I had never been to a state fair before Sunday. Maryland‘s was exactly what I expected: livestock, award-winning vegetables and handmade pillows, over-priced rides, and another opportunity to eat turkey legs.
The only downfall? I stepped in poo while petting a goat. Normally this would not have bothered me, but Theo threatened not to let me back in the house. Luckily, we compromised and he found a stick for me to de-poo the shoes with. Life is tough.
Waste
August 27, 2010 8:15 amOne thing my roommates and I couldn’t seem to get away from in Maryland: wasting food. It didn’t matter how much or how little everyone bought, something inevitably liquefied at the bottom of the vegetable drawer.
There is no “T” in Baltimore

CCRG
3:21 pmBehold my first and only attempt to photograph roller derby. Theo and I have been attending the Charm City Roller Girls‘ bouts almost all season, so this was also how we spent my last day in Baltimore. 
I recently purchased this beast of a lens, 17-35mm f/2.8 that I’ll need to try when the derby comes around again. More accurately, when the CCRG and I are in Baltimore on the same weekend.
