Heather is currently a graduate student at the Ohio University School of Visual Communication. She received a dual BA in Music and English Literature from Susuqehanna University in 2007.

While attending Susquehanna, she served two years as photo editor for The Crusader. Heather also interned with The Capital in Annapolis while studying photography at Anne Arundel Community College.
